ROTOBOOTH

Dial "0" for your photo! Rotobooth uses an antiquated but oh-so-cool rotary phonebooth as the interface for capturing photos. Photobooths have long been entertaining friends wanting to capture a moment in 4 lo-fi frames. Rotobooth makes you wait for your hi-fi "film" to develop, and the anticipation and mystery is always half the fun. Get your pic snapped and then visit the flickr stream to see how you, your friends and strangers all turned out.

I am an NYC-based multimedia designer and technologist, working with physical computing, interaction design, furniture design, 3d printing, sound engineering and photography. Having graduated from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, I recently installed an AR-triggered photo booth for shoppers in the H&M flagship store in NYC. I currently run the Maker Bot store in Brooklyn, as well as freelance as an audio, video, and lighting engineer at Lincoln Center, The Public Theater and Fresh Air Flicks. In my spare time I wail on the guitar or the drums until my roommate tells me to stop.
