I think #3 could work really well in #1 – I like #1 a lot, but you might push further to develop ways in which it’s engaging as a physical installation (I could see it working really well as a web app). Maybe the design of the computer stand could be based on filter bubbles? Or projection map onto filter bubble visualizations?
I also really like #2 – you could create a huge moon light sculpture? Like a moon version of Olafur Eliasson’s giant sun. Or make a whole solar system and put them on rotating arms to simulate their motion! sorry that’s maybe way too much. But I think your light was really beautiful and cool.

I actually did the monolith thing in college (sort of – I made a monolith out of house parts with embedded TVs and cameras and guerrila-installed it in public), so I definitely dig that idea. I think it’s missing a core concept though, like what does the monolith mean to you? Is it training/evolving us (like in 2001) or gathering data on us? Or both?
I also like your thesis project a ton and do like the pavilion idea also. I think a pavilion would be super hard to achieve in a matter of weeks, though. I think the thesis project might be the way to go. I think it could lend itself really well to a physical installation – even abstract – and would be fascinating to reveal the structures you’re dealing with in physical, experiential space.

#1 is awesome and I’d love to see you do work about martial arts. The photos are incredible, btw, and do look incredibly sculptural. Also check out the work of Etienne-Jules Marey who pioneered chrono-photography, which is what these photos are (basically long/multiple exposure): http://www.graphicine.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/%C3%89tienne-Jules-Marey-D172E035.jpg
#2 is also a really interesting idea and I think could have an interesting uncanny effect. I’m not sure how you’d develop the faces – but maybe you could use Grasshoper to do it procedurally (but I think it might end up kind of abstract?). Seems like this project would actually be harder than #1 (and require more research and data) but I think if you pulled it off it would be really cool. You were thinking of 3D printing this? It might be difficult to make it look lifelike if that’s what you’re going for.
#3 is cool too – you might think about making something kinetic with this, and maybe just focus on outer space as a metaphor rather than putting it side by side in the space.
