Everyone should watch Clouds. This documentary is certainly made for all humans to reflect about the culture of creative coding an what is this phenomenon. What does this world of code allows humans to create? What will happen from now on? How will things change?

At the same time I loved the documentary and the possibility of picking the path and adventuring myself, I thought that maybe sometimes there shouldn’t be o many open options gets confusing to get a narrative all together.

Art in coding is more generative no doubt. It allows artists/coders/creatives to explores random behaviors. By creating artwork with code it opens to an infinity of possibilities that can give good and bad results based on the code the person wrote. For this reason, it’s really truly difficult to establish when an artwork is ever done. Every time a code is changed the result might come as surprise of something you didn’t even expect. Sometimes because you can’t even predict what the code will do when you add a certain function.

>> How do videogames change the way we see

Games have the capacity influencing out life because it messes up with out minds. Some games apply experiences from real life into a computer narrative or creates situations inside a virtual wold that will make the user rethink or apply to his/her life. It also has the possibility of making the user change the way they see things or even make provocations. When playing we create this digital world that after a while starts to exists in out head. And because of the connection of aspects in the game to life, it’s hard to make the distinction.

>> Do computer make us smarter

Technology makes ours life’s easier and more exciting. It also makes more efficient, simpler and faster. It help us process and store information making us able to produce and create more. I think it doesn’t actually makes us smarter, but make us look like smarter people because of the numerous resources we have available in the technology world.
