For this project, I was interested in using grasshopper for making patterns and manipulating geometry.

1. Exploration

I started exploring with the voronoi diagram and tried to manipulate an abstract shape but I felt it was a dead end. So I tried to use grasshopper to design meaningful objects.

2. Digital result

I tried to make a vase on grasshopper.

3. Printing

I capped the top of the vase in rhino to protect it from falling apart while printing. I tried to use the option make solid in Meshmixer but I had some problems with the file.
