Banana Bling<\/strong> is laser cut into yellow mirror acrylic. It is taking Andy Warhol’s banana print to the next level of commercialism and over-used pop iconography (bling!).<\/p>\n

Original banana necklaces on Etsy<\/em><\/p>\n

Banana Bling<\/strong> was inspired by several banana necklaces on Etsy (see above) plus Andy Warhol’s iconic print. Process included manipulating\u00a0an image of Warhol’s print (changing to grayscale and simplifying the image) in Photoshop, image tracing and cleaning in Illustrator, and using a combination of etching and cutting on the laser cutter.<\/p>\n
