The computer visuals in the movie per question seemed relevant to the topics discussed. But, I felt they were too subjective. Overall, it was nice to see a compilation of practitioners in the fields of creative technology,\u00a0computer programing, digital design, and engineering, provide their insights.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikelberman.com\/pgraff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/CLOUDS-visual-levin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1417\" src=\"https:\/\/mikelberman.com\/pgraff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/CLOUDS-visual-levin-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"CLOUDS-visual-levin\" width=\"584\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While picking\u00a0three questions addressed in &#8220;Clouds,&#8221; I listed a few quotes that strike my thoughts the most.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do we hack reality?\u00a0<\/strong>(Where does reality lie? )<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Memo Akten- It&#8217;s to create an alternative reality.<\/li>\n<li>Daniel Shiffamn-\u00a0It&#8217;s a system (the body is a system of cells). \u00a0In theory you can build the whole universe in your computer.<\/li>\n<li>Ramsey Nasser- Worlds have consistency, we cannot predict what we do in every single step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do Computers Make Us Smarter?\u00a0<\/strong>(What happens after we die? )<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computers are bicycles of the mind<\/li>\n<li>Computers can go further than biology and medicine<\/li>\n<li>Bruce Sterling- \u00a0&#8220;Process is a beautiful and intricate. These &#8216;ones&#8217; and &#8216;zeros&#8217;. There&#8217;s something profound about that.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Martin Wattenberg: &#8220;How would you diagram a hundred million things?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Lindsay Howard: &#8220;Human Civilization- A tumblr that when you scroll, you see old computers in landfills. It&#8217;s streams, streams, of death.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Bruce Sterling: &#8220;I&#8217;m going to learn something in the clouds.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Will Happen When the\u00a0Singularity\u00a0Arrives?\u00a0<\/strong>(What is storytelling?)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kevin Slavin- &#8220;They are good at simulating every possible thought that has been thought. Computers simulate.&#8221;Stories have power with humans because we feel human agency behind them. That once you start introducing system level, there&#8217;s a complexity to that that has been poorly served thus far.<\/li>\n<li>Marcus Wendt- &#8220;You need to recombine different aspects of the story. That&#8217;s where code again, is an interesting tool for film-makers and storytelling&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Casey Reas- &#8220;This new model. It&#8217;s not cinema nor a game.
