I wanted the visualisation of these points to reflect a circular form to sort of represent the cycle of growth (totally for realz).<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been very lucky growing up. Although not affluent, my parents emphasised personal growth through travel, and made sure that my sister and I were always given the opportunity to explore different cultures, experiences, customs and traditions.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve lived in several different cities growing up. I decided to use the latitude and longitude co-ordinates of cities I\u2019ve lived in to create visualisation. Born in Hyderabad, went to high school in Dehradun, mom lives in Uganda so went there every summer, undergrad in Malaysia and now living in NYC! And travel and living in these different places has had the biggest impact on who I am. For this project, I decided to get the latitudes and longitudes of the various cities, and visualise them and create art for something I could eventually hang on my wall. I use the lat and lot and then\u00a0plotted them on grasshopper using points.<\/p>\n
