The exhibition was by the artist\u00a0Rafael Lozano-Hemmer\u00a0which\u00a0discusses surveillance and the technological &#8220;control&#8221; that is pervasive in our society. The artist inspired us to think about the concept of digital surveillance and how we could incorporate this into our digital shoplifting assignment.<\/p>\n<p>We first experienced the exhibit:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bitform Gallery I\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/141359644?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bitform Gallery II\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/141359706?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We then used 123D Catch to 3D scan some of the pieces in the exhibit.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bitform Gallery III\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/141359719?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bitform Gallery IV\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/141359752?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>123D Catch did not produce high quality scans. We think this may be because of the lighting or the fact that the iPhone camera is not very high quality.
