Jaskirat and I\u00a0tried to scan and experiment with several different objects: a ring (jewelry), a green drone, and a bodice draped with a jacket. Our method was taking 360 photos (top, mid, low) of an object than using the 123D Catch program.<\/p>\n

The 123D Catch does not provide\u00a0high quality scans and was very sensitive to light\/ reflection. We believe the it was also due to how well we took the photos in a consistent angle.<\/p>\n

Here are examples of the scanning working and very detailed (using a Samsung S3) then rendered on a PC.<\/p>\n
